Request our Expert and Friendly Substitute Teacher when your instructor is sick!
During the winter holiday season, it’s not uncommon to find
your music teacher sick, unable to make up a lesson the following day, or have a holiday scheduling conflict.
Please, take advantage of our substitute teaching program!
It came to my attention, that some of our teachers mistakenly avoid reporting their illnesses and requesting a sub-teacher for their students due to the belief that the sub teacher will take over instructing their favorite pupils. 🙂
Our substitute teachers have Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Music, extensive experience working with kids and adults, friendly personality, and referrals from students in your area!
Despite being in love with your current teacher (or should I say, in like), the sub-teacher will have a similar to your teacher’s expertise and will not only enhance your lessons, but will bring some new ideas and experience.
I’ve long noticed, that students who skip a week of lessons due to the teacher’s illness, do not practice extra hard for an additional week and tend to desire skipping more lessons in the future.
Also, if your child is taking lessons once a week, scheduling an extra lesson the following week to make up the missed time will definitely boost the learning. However, if your child is taking lessons twice or three-times per week, scheduling a make-up the following week will lead to overwhelming the student with an extra work in one single week.
Please, do not hesitate contacting the office at (310) 220-0405 to request a sub-teaching. Thank you.
